A dinner treat from friends brought me to visit Pete’s Place sooner than I expected. Situated at the basement “hole” of Hyatt Hotel, you can only access it down a flight of stairs on the left side. With it’s rustic decor of red bricks, dark wood, terra cotta tiles and feeling of being in a big homely cellar, the setting felt very cosy and romantic.
Newspaper style menu.
Bread bar, which I was too stuffed to try but heard the breadsticks are good, and their cold salad bar.
My salad, wish I had taken more of those juicy marinated mushrooms!
Thin crust Hawaiian and Vegetarian pizza! Don’t underestimate this, very filling.
Super yummy sautéed veggies with herbs, mushrooms, corn, asparagus, onions, broccoli and carrots. The smell alone was enough to make my mouth water, and the first bite? Sent me to veggie heaven.
Seafood main with fish, scallops, mussels. Similar taste to the veggies but didn’t smell as nice.
How else better to spent the night with a good dinner in a cosy setting having nice chats with my friends? I heard Pete’s Place is a old favorite with their regular customers. I want to return to try their pastas one day!
