A stall with humble beginnings, Saveur started out as a hawker stall in the east, serving affordable French fare to the masses. Since relocating to Purvis Street, they seem to have gained a even larger following, and have expanded their seating area to the neighboring unit as well, which must be a relief to us customers. However, the length of the queue is still a matter of luck, I’ve tried having no queue on a Monday night to a 45min wait on a Wednesday night.

Chocolate Origin
There are many things I love about Chocolate Origin Chocolate Lava Cake with vanilla ice cream; the decent quality for $5, nicely sized portion to satisfy your craving and pretty convenient locations but what a lot of other places do not offer, is the mobility. I can have lava cake with ice cream on the go, how awesome is that?

Eatplaylove Craft Cafe
Singaporeans like to be given choices, and we’ve seen a growing number of places offering different cuisines like Western & Thai from the same kitchen, but I think this is the first time its combined with a DIY arts & crafts concept!
Eatplaylove is a new child-friendly crafts cafe at Aliwal Arts Centre (apt location!), occupying a rather large whimsically decorated space and at just about 1 month old.
Savour 2013: My picks for a 3 Course Meal
Savour is back for a second time this year, and I must say it’s better than before in so many ways. The chef & restaurant line up is much more exciting, the addition of air conditioned dining tents are definitely appreciated, as well as more live entertainment in the form of both Masterclasses, demonstrations and music.
With around 20 food booths and more than 60 choices, it is easy to feel overwhelmed at this international food festival. After making my rounds & trying more dishes than I had intended last night, here’s what I would pick if I could only have a 3 Course meal at Savour 2013.
